WhAI is the Vedrai decision intelligence platform that support companies, decision maker in confidently defining the best choices to achieve their business targets, identify unexplored opportunities, anticipate risks, scenario simulation, predictive actionable insights and a Conversational AI component powered by Copilot between multiple AI domains, including Gen AI, Causal AI, and Agentic AI.
Builder is the module that allows analyst to design and configure the company variables relations based on data, defining cause-effect relationships, constraints, and scenarios to create a solid foundation for strategic decision-making.
My role
First Product Designer (I love say: “the first of my kind”) with the goal of supporting the vision, creating solid and scalable solutions, become a point of reference for the whole product team and building the design team from scratch.
I supported the redefinition of methodologies and cross-functional processes, accelerating delivery cycles (delivery velocity) and designing Vedrai Agents (the company’s previous vertical products) and WhAI.
Co-responsible for product strategy with Product Leads: roadmap, user/product journeys, and vision prototyping to support PMs and 3 tribes.
As a key point of reference between business, tech, design, and data, with direct interaction with the CPO and CEO, I led internal design workshops and introduced collaboration practices that improved alignment and delivery.

Build, decision modeling & simulation
The system enables users to model business dynamics, upload data, and simulate scenarios through a Decision Process Map (DPM), a causal graph that visualizes relationships between internal and external variables.
Powered by Generative AI, the platform interprets existing spreadsheets, automatically extracting variables, data, and formulas to build a structured model with minimal effort creating a digital twin of the company model
In the DPM canvas, nodes (variables) are linked by causal relationships that can be defined through direct connections on the canvas, node settings, or formulas. The main node type, deterministic, describes precise cause/effect data flows that drive simulations.
This mode transforms strategic planning into a visual, interactive, and AI-driven experience.
User type
The user type of this solution is a business consultant (or a similar role within the company) who is responsible for structuring insights and guiding strategic decisions. These competencies are rarely found in-house, which makes the role even more critical.
Research revealed the main need in transform data and reduced time to create outputs.
Much of the effort is wasted searching for data that comes from multiple sources, is not updated, and is hard to map or relate and define this mapping to define and achieve company targets. In consulting practice, the assessment phase often represents around 60% of the work, as understanding the system requires gathering fragmented inputs rather than pure analysis.
Role of WhAI
WhAI does not aim to solve data reconstruction issues. Instead, it enables the interpretation of any Excel file, the most common format into a relational language of causal inference. This allows consultants to quickly translate raw spreadsheets into a structured Decision Process Map (DPM), reducing setup time and focusing efforts on decision-making.
