[2023–2025]

WhAI is the Vedrai decision intelligence platform that support companies, decision maker in confidently defining the best choices to achieve their business targets, identify unexplored opportunities, anticipate risks, scenario simulation, predictive actionable insights and a Conversational AI component powered by Copilot between multiple AI domains, including Gen AI, Causal AI, and Agentic AI.

Explorer enables data and business analysts to build dashboards, visualize and share data in their preferred format, making it easier to prepare reports or presentations. For example, in a quarterly review meeting, a tailored dashboard can be shared to display updated data, progress toward targets, and future forecasts.

My role

First Product Designer (I love say: “the first of my kind”) with the goal of supporting the vision, creating solid and scalable solutions, become a point of reference for the whole product team and building the design team from scratch.

I supported the redefinition of methodologies and cross-functional processes, accelerating delivery cycles (delivery velocity) and designing Vedrai Agents (the company’s previous vertical products) and WhAI.
Co-responsible for product strategy with Product Leads: roadmap, user/product journeys, and vision prototyping to support PMs and 3 tribes.
As a key point of reference between business, tech, design, and data, with direct interaction with the CPO and CEO, I led internal design workshops and introduced collaboration practices that improved alignment and delivery.

Strategic Exploration

With WhAI, users can analyze data, extract actionable insights, and generate strategic content to support decision-making.

Like a Business Intelligence tool, dashboards can be personalized with widgets to organize, visualize, and interact with data. Widgets are divided into categories, each supporting a different layer of analysis:

Monitoring & Reporting: descriptive KPI metrics and contextual performance analysis
Trend & Comparison: historical trends and future projections of key variables
Optimization & Sensitivity: prescriptive insights via sensitivity analysis for optimized decisions
Diagnostic & Structural: technical insights into simulation outputs and system structures

Four Forms of Analytics

Dashboards follow a logical analytical progression:

Descriptive analytics – Reviewing past trends and current performance
Predictive analytics – Forecasting future outcomes
Diagnostic analytics – Identifying factors influencing results
Prescriptive analytics – Recommending optimal actions with AI support

Beyond visualization, WhAI provides AI-generated commentary that interprets the outputs of each widget. This transforms raw data into narrative insights, making results easier to communicate and act upon.

By combining advanced probabilistic modeling with high-performance computing, WhAI offers a comprehensive assessment of uncertainty, delivering a clear understanding of the probability distribution across all possible scenarios.

& Scenario Planning

Users start by defining objectives and setting the assumptions they want to test.

Once assumptions are clear, new scenarios can be created and compared within dashboards. This involves manually adjusting variables over specific timeframes, similar to traditional scenario planning platforms, but with the added benefit of probabilistic modeling to explore how variable interactions affect business outcomes.
